Noise Suppression

Noise Suppression is a 32 and 64-bit PC VST plug-in that was designed to reduce static noise that direct injection (aka DI) electric guitar recordings usually have too much.

It features three independent methods to reduce noise:

1)Frequency scissors to bust noise occupying unused areas of the guitar DI frequency spectrum. Think of it as an envelope driven low pass filter with dynamic cut-off frequency;

2)Dynamic range and frequency response coupled subtractor; Think of it as a predefined generic model for guitars;

3)Highly specialized filter for noise reduction on muted notes. This module busts the background noise effectively right when palm or any other kind of muted notes or har-monics are played.

All of three methods are highly flexible in settings to allow user to configure noise reduction for their own case, be it mild, medium or aggressive noisiness.

The plug-in is made to work on high-gain mainly but you might want to try it on other stuff if it serves your purpose well.
